The Taliban have claimed responsibility for an attack on a U.S. military base in Afghanistan. A spokesperson for the group said the assault on Bagram Air Base north of Kabul is still ongoing. The Bagram district governor said one person was killed and 87 others were injured. Talks between the U.S. and Taliban were called off in September by President Donald Trump, after an attack by the group killed an American soldier.
