Polling stations opened in 650 constituencies across Britain at 7 a.m. (07:00 GMT) Thursday in the country's general elections.
Voters from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will choose 650 Members of Parliament (MPs) to represent them on a national level in the House of Commons.
Polls are due to close at 22:00 GMT and the counting will follow straight away.
While general elections are meant to take place every five years, this is the third UK-wide contest in less than five years following those in 2015 and 2017.
