At least one person was killed, 12 others were injured, and two others are still missing after a fire broke out on Russia's only aircraft carrier on Thursday. "The fire occurred during repair works in the first power unit, and a thick plume of black smoke is seen from the upper deck," Russia's TASS news agency reported.
