A car burst into flames in a highway tunnel along the city of Yangquan in north China's Shanxi Province on October 26.
The driver and the passengers failed to put out the fire. A surveillance camera captured thick smoke filling the six-kilometer-long tunnel in only ten minutes. As some passengers ran out, some stayed in their cars and were trapped in the smoky tunnel. Traffic police and fire fighters wearing oxygen masks drove into the tunnel three times and rescued four people.
Fortunately, the accident had no injuries and casualties.
