A magnificent light show was staged at the ski jump platform during the 2019 Snowboard and Free Ski World Cup. The ski jump platform is in a stadium built in the steel plant industrial area for the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics. The lights were projected on a ski truck and old chimneys preserved from the area's industrial past. They belong to Shougang Group, a steel corporation that was established 100 years ago.

Thanks to the games and the light show, the industrial area of Shougang Group is expected to receive more visitors in the future. It is planning to construct new buildings for concerts and other cultural and sports events.
