Tourists were drawn to a peculiar rock which resembles Egypt's sphinx statue located in the suburbs of Jinan City, east China's Shangdong Province.

An expert explained that the rock comprises of three different stones, and could date back to 2.6 billion years ago. The "facial features" were formed through billion years of weathering.
