Zach LaVine dropPED 31 points, including the game-winning 3-point play for the Bulls at the United Center. The whole team were on fire from the 3-point line: Lavvne buried four, Denzel Valentine got four and even Thaddeus Young made two.

The Clippers were playing back-to-back and had four key players – Kawhi Leonard, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverly and JaMychal Green – sit out of this game. Paul George and Montrezl Harrell together shot down 57 points, but only two of the rest of the team scored double-digit points (11 for both Landry Shamet and Patrick Patterson).

Miami Heat 122-118 Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic played less than two minutes for Dallas before he sprained his ankle and went back to the locker room. Fortunately, X-rays were negative. Coach Rick Carlisle said he did not expect the 20-year-old young star to play in the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

Miami saw six of their players reach double digits in scoring. Jimmy Butler had team-high 27 points while Bam Adebayo put down a triple-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. One-year rookie shooter Tyler Herro buried three 3-pointers to get 19 points.

The Spurs became the first team in NBA history to play overtime in four straight games. Patty Mills scored 26 points off the bench and made the game-winning shot in the last 3.8 seconds of the game. This was also the Spurs' third win in the past four games.

Rick Rubio dropped the 25 points and 13 assists for the Suns, both the highest of the team. He also reached 4,000 with his career assists.

Detroit Pistons 115-107 Houston Rockets

Though Blake Griffin made no field goals, which was a career first, Detroit managed to win thanks to the 20 points plus 12 assists of Derrick Rose. Detroit also saw two of their players, Christian Wood (11+12) and Bruce Brown Jr. (16+10) reach double digits in points and rebounds.

Russell Westbrook sat out of the game. James Harden though shot down 39 points, it took him 33 attempts to do so. The Rockets were struggling with their shooting with a field goal rate of 40.2 percent and a 3-point rate of 28.9 percent.

Nikola Jokic put down a triple double of 28 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists at home for Denver. This was not only his fourth triple double of the season, but also the 32nd one in his career. Thanks to that, Jokic matched Rajon Rondo to rank No. 10 in triple double in NBA history.

Chris Paul had 15 points, 10 assists and four steals in the game. Though he did not help OKC win, Paul saw his all-time steal number reach 2.164, surpassing Hakeem Olajuwon to rank No. 8 in the NBA history. Paul has delivered more assists than any other active player in today's league.

Brooklyn Nets 102-110 Toronto Raptors

This was already Toronto's 34th consecutive home victory over the team from the Atlantic Division and that set a new NBA record. The last time Toronto lost the team from the same division happened on November 10, 2015 when they lost to the Knicks 111-109.

Though Pascal Siakam dropped game-high 30 points to help the Raptors win, his incredible 25-point performance in the first half was followed by only five points in the second half, an indicator that the 25-year-old forward still needs to work on his steadiness.

Cleveland Cavaliers 108-125 Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 29 points to help Milwaukee claim their 18th straight win. This was the second-longest winning-streak in their franchise history after the 20 straight wins in the 1970-71 season. By the way, Milwaukee won the NBA championship that season.

Eighteen wins in a row were also the 10th-longest winning-streak record in the NBA. The New York Knicks from 1969-70, the Boston Celtics from 1981-82 and the Bulls from 1995-96 all enjoyed the same record.

Washington Wizards 111-128 Memphis Grizzlies

Both teams have a Japanese player – Rui Hachimura of Washington and Yuta Watanabe of Memphis. Nonetheless, this game was far from a real Japanese derby. Hachimura scored 10 points and four rebounds while Watanabe only got three rebounds.

Bradley Beal put down 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Wizards but him alone could not stop the Grizzlies that shot at 57.14-percent field goal rate and 40.74-percent 3-point rate. Dillon Brooks had Grizzlies' highest 27 points. One-year rookie guard Ja Morant got 18 points and five assists.
