The three-day 2019 Wildwater Canoeing World Cup started Friday in the Nujiang River in southwest China's Yunnan Province. Participating were 100 athletes from 20 countries, who will compete in the singles and doubles canoeing and kayaking. The event, co-hosted by the Chinese Canoe Association and the International Canoe Federation, is the first of its kind ever held in China. It represents the highest standard in canoeing competition.
