Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam has been received by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. Lam arrived on Saturday for a 3-day visit to deliver the annual work report of the Special Administrative Region's government. During their meetings, central government leaders expressed strong support for Lam as Hong Kong's chief executive. They said the first and foremost task for Hong Kong is to stop violence and restore social order.
