The University of Macau (UM) is located in the east of Hengqin Island, Guangdong Province, on a piece of land leased to the Macao SAR government but under the jurisdiction of Macao since 2014. UM is the only public comprehensive university in Macao, and offers Asia's largest and most complete collegiate system with ten residential colleges.
