Rare footage of a wild mother panda drinking water with its cub was released Friday by a nature reserve in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
It is the first time the Fengtongzhai Nature Reserve in Baoxing County, Ya'an City, has captured footage of a female wild panda with a cub.
The pictures filmed in June this year show that the female panda and the cub, around 1 year old, are in good health.
The nature reserve has so far captured footage of wild pandas seven times.
Baoxing County is known as the place where the giant panda was first discovered and reported by French missionary Armand David in 1869.
