The Hukou Waterfall is the largest waterfall on the Yellow River and the second largest waterfall in China. It is located at the intersection of the provinces of Shanxi and Shaanxi.
The waterfalls in Shanxi Province's Jixian County have now turned into a winter wonderland full of icicles.
The local temperature has dropped to minus 10 degrees Celsius and as the Yellow River carries ice downstream to the Hukou Waterfall, the water drops splash onto the rocks and freeze instantly, forming rows of delicate icicles.
