After touching down in Macao, President Xi Jinping met with outgoing Chief Executive Chui Sai On. Xi said the central government fully acknowledged Chui's work during his 10 years in charge. Xi said under Chui's leadership, the Macao SAR fully implemented the "One Country, Two Systems" policy and the Basic Law. Chui welcomed Xi on behalf of the SAR government and the people of Macao. He also thanked President Xi and the central government for their trust and support.
