UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has urged the international community to take action and tackle the root causes of a surge in refugee numbers. He was speaking at a press conference during the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva. The gathering, the first of its kind, is being hosted by the UN refugee agency and the Swiss government.
