Madame Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, accompanied by Fok Wai Fun, wife of Chui Sai On, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), visited the Institute for Tourism Studies in the afternoon of December 19.

Peng Liyuan listened to a description of the school curriculum and student training and walked into the tea ceremony classroom to watch the teaching of beverage preparation.

She also watched the making of Portuguese egg tarts and took an egg funnel to participate in the production.

She encouraged students to learn professional knowledge and skills well and make their own contributions to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the cultural exchanges between China and the west.
