UK's new government has named Andrew Bailey as the Bank of England's next governor. Bailey worked for the bank for 30 years, before moving to his current position in Britain's Financial Conduct Authority in 2016. He will serve an eight-year term, during which he is expected to help the country's banking system through Brexit. The new chief will take up his post in March 2020.
