Six dead after coach slips into icy river in northeast China

At least six people were killed after a coach carrying 37 people slipped into an icy river in Tonghua, northeast China's Jilin Province, on Saturday.

According to the city's authorities, the accident took place at around 11 a.m. local time near 206 Hospital in Dongchang District.

All passengers have been rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
