Rime scenery creates fairyland in National Forest Park

The Tianmenshan National Forest Park has turned white with snow and rime in Zhangjiajie City, central China's Hunan Province. The mountains were blanketed with snow, while tree branches were coated with rime, creating a wonderland that amazed visitors.

Rime is called "shu gua" (suspensions on trees) in Chinese. It's formed when water vapor in the air freezes rapidly on the surface of different plants.
