At least six people were killed in a fire that engulfed a residential building in Zhongshan City in China's southern Guangdong Province on Sunday. 

The local fire department received a call at around 2:00 a.m. BJT and extinguished the fire about an hour later

Six bodies were found during cleanup operations, authorities said. An investigation is underway.
