Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said exposing people's personal information online is a threat to society and must be stopped. Writing in a Facebook post on Sunday, she said her own personal information was published again on social media. Lam said she was not concerned about herself, but people who carried out the practice, known as doxxing, targeted officials, police and others who disagreed with them. If people become afraid to express their opinions openly, the whole of society will be harmed, she said.
