China has outlined the major tasks for its 2020 deep space exploration at a space art exhibition in southern Guangzhou City on Friday. The exhibition displays the mockups of the Chang'e-4 lunar probe and Yutu-2 moon rover for the first time.
December marks six years since Chang'e-3, China's first lunar lander, has been operating on the moon, the longest time for an active probe. The Yutu-2 rover has been in operation on the lunar surface for more than 340 days, becoming the longest working rover on the moon. As part of the second phase of China's Lunar Exploration Program, it has been providing a large amount of data for research.
