Fireworks exploded over Macao on Sunday, as the SAR celebrated the 20th anniversary of its return to China. Macao and neighboring Zhuhai City jointly held the fireworks show that lasted for 30 minutes, divided into four chapters and included eight special-effect launching platforms.

Besides the 160,000 fireworks, there were 56 unmanned boats and 600 drones that dazzled spectators with a light show as music played. Fireworks formed the shape of a dragon, the figure 20 and "zhu fu," which means best wishes in Chinese. Nearly 100,000 people watched the show in Macao and Zhuhai.
