In Afghanistan, there are calls of misconduct in its recent presidential election. Authorities named the incumbent President Ashraf Ghani the winner on Sunday. But one of the leading candidates, the country's chief executive Abdullah Abdullah said the poll was illegitimate. Abdullah called on the election commission to "assess complaints according to the law and remove fake votes." The authorities said Ghani had won more than 50 percent of a preliminary vote count.
