According to a recent report by Chinese business data service center CBNData and B2C retail website T-mall, the sales volume of China's meal replacement market in 2019 rose 50 percent compared to last year. Millennials remain the major driving force, but Generation Z contributed to most of the sales growth in 2018. Powder and drinks are the most common products, but new products keep coming as they tend to be more profitable.
