Leaders from China, Japan and South Korea met in southwestern China's Chengdu city for the 8th China-Japan-Republic of Korea (ROK) leaders' meeting on Tuesday. They discussed ways to work more closely together and build on common interests. In this context, what are the future prospects for cooperation among the three countries? As Japan and ROK have been locked in a trade dispute, how will this meeting help to ease tensions and achieve fair trade in the region? Su Xiaohui from the China Institute of International Studies in Beijing, Jaesung Hong, a finance and trade attorney at JS Legal in Seoul, and Professor Kazuto Suzuki from the Public Policy School of Hokkaido University in Japan share their insights with CGTN.
