A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Yingcheng in Xiaogan City, central China's Hubei Province, on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The earthquake occurred at 6:36 p.m. BJT (1036 GMT) Thursday, with the epicenter monitored at a depth of 10 km.
Tremors were felt in nearby regions, including Wuhan, Jingzhou, Xiangyang, Yichang, Xinyang and Xianning.
