China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) is expanding Moscow's metro network, which saw another tunnel opened. The CRCC won the bid to build a 4.6-km section and three stations on the "Large Circle Line" in April 2019. This is the first time for a Chinese company to build a subway in Russia. The metro line will be put into operation in 2021 and is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the metropolis.
