A magnitude-5.1 earthquake hit Borazjan, Iran on Friday according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered 53 kilometers east of Bushehr, a nuclear plant on Iran's southern coast, with a depth of 38.3 kilometers.
"No reports have been received on any possible damage from the earthquake," Iranian state television said.
