Bei Bei, a 4-year-old American-born panda, moves into its new house at the China Conservation and Research Center in Ya'an, southwestern China's Sichuan Province. On November 20, Bei Bei arrived in Sichuan from the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington D.C. under the terms of the zoo's agreement with the Chinese government. What's the new house like, and how is Bei Bei getting used to the food and language in Sichuan over the past month? Join us for more.

Bei Bei was born at the Smithsonian's National Zoo on August 22, 2015 as the cub (via artificial insemination) of National Zoo pandas Mei Xiang and Tian Tian. His name, which translates as "treasure" or "precious" in Mandarin, was jointly selected by former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama and the Chinese first lady Peng Liyuan.
