Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will visit China at the invitation of Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on December 31, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said Monday at a regular briefing. 

Wang and Zarif will discuss the Iran nuclear issue and other issues of common concern, said Geng. 

He added that China is willing to work with Iran to push forward the steady development of bilateral ties as well as safeguard the nuclear deal and peace and stability of the Middle East.
