The last day of 2019 marks an important milestone for Shandong Heroes veteran Lester Hudson, who climbed to the second place in the all-time points list of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

The 35-year-old shooter delivered a triple-double with a game-high 35 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to carry Shandong over Fujian Sturgeons 123-90.

Hudson totaled as many as 11,180 points during his 10-season CBA career, 15 points more than Chinese basketball legend Zhu Fangyu who had 11,165.

"I really do not care how many points I got. As my team play better and better, I want to win more games," said Hudson.

Yi Jianlian of Guangdong ranked first in the all-time points leaders list with 11,430 so far.

Beijing Ducks played without top star Jeremy Lin but still managed to move past Sichuan Blue Whale 96-90.

Justin Hamilton made a team high 22 points for Beijing. Ekpe Udoh added 19.

Tyler Hansbrough scored a game-best 39 points for Sichuan.

Another Beijing team, the Royal Fighters, also recorded a victory to close the year of 2019. The 109-86 win over Shanxi Loongs lifted the young team to the fifth place on CBA standings.
