A fire broke out at a construction site at Jiamusi Dongjiao International Airport in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, leading to the evacuation of the airport, local authorities said.

The fire has been extinguished, and all the flights have resumed normal operations, said the airport staff.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
