Low temperatures in northern China have turned the Hukou Waterfall into an icy wonderland. The Hukou is the world's largest yellow waterfall. It sits in a grand canyon at the intersection of Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. The water has become much clearer since autumn due to a reduced volume. Local temperatures have dropped to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Many smaller waterfalls have also frozen as a result. And a rainbow arch often appears. The beautiful view has attracted many visitors.
