Embattled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked parliament for immunity from prosecution for alleged graft. He was indicted in November on a range of corruption charges. The request is likely to delay the start of court proceedings for months because lawmakers are not due to vote on the matter until after elections on March 2.
