Turkey's parliament is holding an emergency session to vote on a bill that would see the deployment of military troops to Libya. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed a request last Friday for military support from the UN-recognized government in Tripoli as it battles rival forces from the country's east. Turkish legislators are expected to grant a one-year mandate for the deployment.
