Marshon Brooks bombed in four three-pointers in the final quarter and the Guangdong Southern Tigers extended their winning streak to seven with a 105-95 victory over the pesky Liaoning Flying Leopards on Friday night.
Brooks had season-high 44 points and 8 rebounds for Guangdong. Sonny Weems scored 16 points and five assists, and Yi Jianlian added 12 points and 13 rebounds. Liaoning's Lance Stephenson continued his fine form with 36 points and nine rebounds, with his teammate Zhao Jiwei pitching in 22 points.
Zhejiang Golden Bulls clinched their sixth straight win by beating the Jiangsu Dragons 115-99. Sylven Landesberg led Zhejiang with 39 points and eight rebounds, while Marcus Edward Denmon added 33 points and nine assists. Miroslav Radulica came off the bench to score a game-high 43 points and grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds, but failed to save Jiangsu from their fifth straight defeat.
