Turkey's parliament has approved a bill authorizing Ankara to deploy troops to Libya, in support of the UN-backed Government of National Accord. But the decision is drawing criticism from countries backing rival forces, as well as from those fearing a conflict escalation. For He Wenping, a research fellow with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Ankara's troop deployment will deteriorate the messy situation in Libya.
