Qasem Soleimani to be laid to rest in Iran

The body of Iranian commander, General Qasem Soleimani, will be transferred to Iran after the funeral processions in Iraq, Iranian state media reports.

On Saturday, thousands of mourners have gathered for a funeral procession through Baghdad to pay their respects to Qasem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, killed in a U.S. airstrike.
