36th Harbin Ice Festival opens in China

The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, one of the main winter events in China, opened with hundreds of colossal ice sculptures in the shape of palaces or Buddhas that have become a visual spectacle that attracts more than a million tourists each year. Hundreds of sculptures extend over a facility covering more than 600,000 square meters and will remain for three months.
