Six people were killed and five injured after a construction site of a tourism project in Jiangxia District collapsed in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the city's emergency management authorities.

The rescue work ended at 3 p.m. on Monday, the authorities said. An investigation is underway.
