Mallards are probably the most common wild duck species in the world. They adapt easily to different environments and are considered an invasive animal.

Migratory birds are under protection around the world. If the bird has made its nest somewhere near the pool, do not chase them away because the female might abandon the nest. There is no other way than wait for them to leave or get professional help. You can also cover the pool when nobody is using it.
