Injured wild buteo rescued in east China

An injured buteo, a class-two protected species in China, has been rescued and released into the wild by volunteers at a toll booth in Qingdao City, east China's Shandong Province. The bird of prey belongs to the hawk family. It generally has a body length of up to 59 cm, and feeds on rodents, hares, and large insects.
