Members of the Edinburgh Chinese community launched the city's Chinese New Year Festival with a dragon dance on Calton Hill, January 8, 2020.

A two-week celebration of the Chinese New Year will take place in Edinburgh from January 21 to February 9.

The 2020 festivities will be extra special for China and Scotland, as the official date for Chinese New Year coincides with Burns Night on January 25.
