2019 has been a special year for the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry in China because it marks the 10th year since the government introduced subsidies for NEVs.
The NEV industry has been grown rapidly in the past 10 years. However, sales for electric cars decreased in 2019, due to the decline in government subsidies. Many NEV companies believe new technologies will be the next thing that boost market growth.
