Relocating impoverished population is only the first step. To truly eliminate poverty, China has many other effective measures. It introduced a new program called "10,000 Enterprises Helping 10,000 Villages" to mobilize social and private sector support. By the end of 2018, the project had invested more than 71.25 billion yuan (10.3 billion U.S. dollars).
