Providing adequate education to children in impoverished areas is essential to poverty alleviation and development. It's the key to preventing the continuance of poverty. In recent years, China's Ministry of Education has been actively promoting education in its fight against poverty by improving school facilities and encouraging young people to volunteer to teach in rural areas.
