The Ice Dragon Boat Championship of China's 14th National Winter Games started in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This is the first time that the event has ever been included in China's National Winter Games.

Ice dragon boat racing combines China's traditional dragon boat races with bobsleighing, breaking the seasonal limitations of traditional dragon boat races while retaining skills and competitiveness. Teams spend a long time training and developing stamina to increase their chance of success in the grueling sport. Ultimately, the Inner Mongolian team won the championship.
