Hong Kong's Polytechnic University came to the world's attention in November when protesters barricaded themselves inside in a show of defiance against the city's government. The campus saw violent clashes between police and protesters for a number of days. It's now been given the all-clear to re-open for a new term following renovations and safety checks.
