Improved environment has attracted an increased number of migratory birds to spend the winter in Eryuan County, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

The place welcomes birds including wild geese, seagulls, egrets, mandarin ducks and other birds resting, playing and frolicking on the wetland.

According to the wetland management center, the birds usually arrive at the wetland in November and leave in March the next year. During this period of time, the center would strengthen real-time monitoring and patrols to better observe and protect the birds.
