Global home furnishing giant IKEA on Wednesday announced to recall the India-made "TROLIGTVIS" travel mugs due to "important safety warning" and promised to give full refunds to the customers who bought them.
"Recent test reports show that the product may migrate levels of chemicals exceeding the required limits," IKEA said in a statement on its official website.
"The travel mug may migrate levels of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) exceeding the recommended limits," the statement further explained.
IKEA has also rendered an apology.
